AHHHH, LE WEEK-END !
Journée 6 (14 mai) – Le Musée d’Orsay
Le samedi, Arty et Tonya sont allés au Musée d’Orsay avec leur groupe. Ils ont apprécié les impressionnistes. Arty a préféré la peinture par Vincent van Gogh «La Nuit Étoilée ». Tonya a préféré la sculpture de Rodin « La Porte de l’Enfer », mais la sculpture a fait peur à Arty. Arty et Tonya, les deux, ont pensé que toutes les œuvres d’art étaient magnifiques ! Arty a demandé à Tonya de prendre des photos de toutes les peintures de van Gogh pour les enfants de Tonya. Tonya a obligé, et elle a pris beaucoup de photos pour les enfants.
(On Saturday, Arty and Tonya went to the Orsay Museum with their group. They enjoyed the impressionists. Arty preferred Vincent Van Gogh's painting "The Starry Night". Tonya preferred Rodin's sculpture "The Gates of Hell", but the sculpture scared Arty. Arty and Tonya, both, thought that all of the artwork was magnificent! Arty asked Tonya to take photos of all the Van Gogh paintings for Tonya's children. Tonya obliged, and she took lots of photos for the kids.)
Journée 7 (15 mai) – Le Marché aux Puces
Dimanche … oh la la, dimanche ! Arty a embarqué Tonya dans une aventure ! D’abord, ils ont pris le petit déjeuner au restaurant près de l’hôtel. Puis, ils sont partis avec leurs amies pour aller au marché aux puces. Le quartier du marché aux puces était un peu effrayant, mais après qu’ils ont marché pour un moment, ils ont trouvé le bon marché ancien. Tonya a acheté des vieux timbres et deux livres. Ils ont marché là pour une grande partie de la journée. Quand ils sont retournés à l’hôtel, ils étaient très fatigués, et ils se sont couchés de bonne heure.
(Sunday ... oh la la, Sunday! Arty took Tonya on an adventure! First, they ate breakfast at a restaurant near the hotel. Then, they left with their friends to go to a flea market. The flea market's neighborhood was a little scary, but after they walked for a while, they found the good, old market. Tonya bought some old stamped and two books. They walked there for a large portion of the day. When they returned to the hotel, they were very tired, and they went to bed early.)
